About Lucia Giannetta
Lucia Giannetta is an award-winning Broadway performer who transports audiences to other places and times through her transcendent storytelling and exquisite voice. Lucia’s commanding stage presence and quick wit has led her to over 20 years of entertaining audiences around the world. As part of Tony, Oscar, and Grammy Award-recognized collaborations, Lucia’s talents and skills have amassed her an impressive resume, indeed.
She has been seen on TV, in Film, on Broadway, at Carnegie Hall, Radio City, and Lincoln Center —sharing the stage with Patti LaBelle, Elton John, Patti LuPone, Jennifer Nettles, Billy Porter and Chazz Palminteri. She even opened for KC and the Sunshine Band performing her Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli show. She’s also sung with the real Liza!
Her most recent Film and TV credits include Martin Scorsese’s Oscar-nominated film, THE IRISHMAN, and Hallmark’s adored HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR. Working closely with writer Chazz Palminteri, director Robert DeNiro, and composer Alan Menken, Lucia brought to stage Rosina Anello, the matriarch of Broadway’s A BRONX TALE THE MUSICAL.
Lucia has developed and originated roles in Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID, THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, HERCULES, and in the Tony nominated musical LEAP OF FAITH. In addition, she also had the joy of portraying Madame Thenardier in LES MISERABLES on Broadway and countrywide in the National Tour.
Lucia is an accomplished Pop/Rock artist and has performed at The Beacon Theater, The Barclay Center, Madison Square Garden, The Late Show with David Letterman, and as guest artist on America’s Got Talent.
Lucia holds a BFA from Boston University’s esteemed College of Fine Arts and is a 20-year veteran of the Broadway Inspirational Voices. Recently Lucia performed at The White House with BIV, and sings at many special events every year.
To date her most cherished role is that of being Isabella Grace's mom.
About Charlie Marcus
Charlie Marcus is a veteran Broadway performer of 35 years. His debut was in the original company of A Chorus Line and was most recently on the Great White Way in the original cast of A Bronx Tale where he understudied Chazz Palminteri in the starring role. Charlie was last seen as Meyer Wolfsheim in Gatsby Immersive , the Off B'way smash hit, where his double trumpet routine was celebrated as "INCREDIBLE" by Variety. No stranger to Mob bosses, he played Don DelCanto in the Original Cast of Romeo & Bernadette on Theatre Row and he's currently producing the revival of The Original Broadway SWING!, hitting NY Stages Fall of 2024. He's traveled the world with Evita, Sunset Boulevard, Hot Shoe Shuffle, Chorus Line, LIttle Shop of Horrors and starred regionally in Crazy For You, Singing in the Rain, and many others.
About The Team
Jonathan (aka Smitti) Smith is a New York-based pianist, arranger, Music Director and woodworker. His training includes piano studies with Ellis Marsalis while a student at Loyola University in New Orleans, with Donald Brown while a student at the Berklee College of music, and a Masters of Music in jazz performance from Manhattan School of Music.
Broadway credits include "Swing!", "Imaginary Friends", "A Bronx Tale", "Jersey Boys", "Thoroughly Modern Millie", and "Ain't Too Proud: The Life & Times of the Temptations". He has been Associate Music Supervisor of "Jersey Boys" worldwide, including productions in South Africa, Singapore, Japan, The UK, The Netherlands, and two US national tours. He is currently Music Director for "Ain't Too Proud" on tour.
